These people are correct. Founded by Anthony Schiappa in mid-2019, Railroad Ave. Records is a really small, independent label that’s home to his band The Stars of Disaster, as well as his solo work. We have released 3 singles, 1 EP, and 1 full-length LP on 180 gram vinyl. While based in Steubenville, Ohio, Railroad Ave. Records aims to champion the music of artists throughout the Ohio Valley, eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. We want to bring this brand of irresistible weirdo rock from our corner of the globe to yours. While most of the music you will find on Railroad Ave. is what we call “indie classic” — a wonderful bastardization of the indie/college rock of the late 80s/early 90s — we are open to anything that moves our hearts or our hips. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries.
